Dr. Carolina Puyana

Dr. Carolina Puyana is a board-certified dermatologist dedicated to personalized, inclusive care, helping patients look and feel their best. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Science and Master of Science in Public Health with highest honors from the University of Miami. Dr. Puyana received her Doctor of Medicine degree with honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine, where she also completed her dermatology residency and served as Academic Chief Resident.

Actively involved in advancing dermatologic science, Dr. Puyana has authored numerous research publications. Her achievements underscore her commitment to clinical excellence, education, and research-driven mentorship in the field.

Dr. Puyana's practice encompasses medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, with particular interests in skin cancer management and advanced dermatological procedures. In cosmetic dermatology, she focuses on enhancing natural beauty through subtle, balanced, and personalized treatments, ensuring patients feel refreshed and confident.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Puyana values connecting with patients from diverse backgrounds, striving to make every visit a comfortable and empowering experience.
