How are we doing? for Skin Center of Boston

Saw Dr. Doktor last week and here is my honest feedback: Office/exam rooms- Very clean and stylish. Staff- Office manager treated me like a human being. They were kind and extremely helpful. Not once did I feel talked down to. Usually when you go into any doctors office the staff is too busy or careless to even look you in the eye. Not the case here. They even walked up to me before leaving the building momentarily to hand me back my insurance card. Kindness goes a long way! Exam- Dr. Doktor was 40 mins late and apologized. Exam felt rushed though she did not become annoyed or flustered when I asked questions. She did not touch my face at all which was disappointing. I recognize that diagnosing skin conditions can mostly be done by sight alone but I have a lot of congestion that is only visible with manipulation of the skin (stretching, light squeezing, etc). Instead, I did this for her while she looked around. Treatment plan- We are on a short timeline given that I have a major event in the fall and need to clear up my skin by then. The treatment plan is aggressive but seems to be working though I have some health concerns I need to bring up with her next time I see her. Overall, I’m optimistic and look forward to my next visit. The doctor has been great! With a quick and thorough consultaion. Looking forward to see how well the prescriptions work for me. Edit- got my acne cleared and had my skin care routine set. Doctor was super nice and patient with all my queries. Amazing experience More
